In 2006, I was commissioned by the CEO of Anthropologie, Glen T Senk, to photograph his six champion hunter jumpers. These images became a turning point for me with Ralph Lauren and the beginnings of today’s current trend in equine photography of strong and unusual equine portraits and details.

Luna is an extraordinary Hanoverian filly, owned and trained by horse trainer Cari Swanson. Swanson is renowned for her amazing work in films such as A Winters Tale, Secretariat and The Horse Whisperer. I started photographing Luna when she was just a yearling at Windsock Farm, Amenia, New York in 2017.
